    Looking Through Lenses: Flashes of Photographer’s Life

    She looks into life through a glass lens, never thinking about the big pictures but about the little details. Capturing moments with a Canon Rebel T3i  is one of her passions and loves. Junior Karla Garcia is a 17 year old photographer addicted to taking pictures and seeing her stunning success come to life. “The Christmas of my Freshman year is when I decided to buy a camera, a Canon Rebel T3i,” Garcia said. “I thought it would be a good idea to document my high school years.”  She didn’t really know how to use it but as a sophomore she joined Photo Journalism and actually learned the camera basics. “One of the people who helped me out a lot was my friend Danny Castro,” she said. “He helped me with actual commercial photography.” Garcia wanted to document things like her life in JROTC, friends, and family, her plans were to carry the camera around every day and take pictures of the little things in life. “I actually did do it for a whi... READ MORE »»
